Mission

• Working with other IT Developer(s) and/or Project Manager(s) throughout the software development life cycle.
• Working with either following Waterfall or Agile frameworks and will mostly use popular coding languages (e.g. JavaScript).
• Being part of the IT Transversal services department and have strong ties with the IT Technology & Operations team.

• Analyze users’ needs and then design, test, and develop software to meet those needs.

• Recommend software upgrades for customers’ existing programs and systems.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Collaborate with other computer specialists to create optimum software.
• Design each piece of an application or system and plan how the pieces will work together.
• Create a variety of models and diagrams (such as flowcharts) that show the software code needed for an application
• Work with other developers to design algorithms and flowcharts.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Verify and deploy programs and systems.
• Document every aspect of an application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Testing and deploying programs and systems.
• Fixing and improving existing software.
• Ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing.
• Gather and evaluate user feedback.
• Recommend and execute improvements.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Profile

• BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role.
• knowledge of low-code technologies (e.g. OutSystems) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with software design and developmen t in a test-driven environment.
• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript ) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git ).
• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate ).
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Attention to details.
